On this week’s episode, we head across the pond to tackle 1988’s Monty Python-esque comedy A FISH CALLED WANDA, directed by Charles Crichton. An all-star cast including Jamie Lee Curtis, John Cleese, and Oscar winner Kevin Kline star in this very unique and very British caper farce, which surprisingly was one of the biggest hits of 1988. Has time been kind to a film whose gags revolve around everything from attempted homicide to infidelity to speech impediments? Or, much like Cleese’s distressingly sweaty head throughout this flick, is it all wet? One thing’s for certain: our guest this week sure loves a good dog murder. And don’t call us stupid!
